Optometrist

Michael Cerean O.D.

Dr. Cerean was born and raised in Houston, Texas. After earning a Bachelor's degree from Baylor University, he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he completed his medic training as the Honor Graduate at Fort Sam Houston.

After serving for 4 years in the military, Dr. Cerean attended the Rosenberg School of Optometry at UIW where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2017. While at UIW he received extensive training in the diagnosis and management of visual disorders, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, and pediatric optometry.

He and his wife Ana have 5 daughters together. They like to spend lots of time outdoors and love going on ski trips. The Cerean family spends much of their free time playing tennis and soccer. Their children are also heavily involved in orchestra and band.

Ana Cerean

Ana Cerean was raised in Waco, Texas and received her nursing degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Starting her career as a nurse’s aid, she climbed the nursing field through persistence and hard work becoming an LVN then an RN and finally a Family Nurse Practitioner.

In her most recent endeavor, she played a critical and indispensable role in helping Eagle’s Nest Eye Clinic become a reality. From installing subfloors to decorating the clinic, her drive and vision is imprinted in every aspect of Eagle’s Nest.

Today, she serves as the engine that makes Eagle’s Nest run. As the “Chief Everything Officer” Ana assists in eye exams, fits frames, schedules patients and manages the clinic.

She and Dr. Cerean married in 2008 and have five daughters together. They like to spend lots of time outdoors and love going on ski trips. The Cerean family spends much of their free time playing tennis and soccer. Their children are also heavily involved in orchestra and band.
